Holy Rosary Catholic School is a vibrant and energetic school filled with faith-filled, lifelong learners.  We serve a geographically large community, ranging from Stirling to Cannifton to College Street in Belleville.  We continue to grow in numbers and are excited to welcome new students who have moved in to our area.

At Holy Rosary Catholic School, we believe in educating the whole child, and therefore place a special emphasis on building our faith, academics, the arts, and athletics, all while ensuring that we are also caring for the emotional needs of our students through restorative justice.

Our students are supported by many caring adults, including classroom teachers, a Special Education Resource Teacher, Educational Assistants, an Early Childhood Educator, a Child and Youth Worker, a Learning Resource Assistant, a principal,  an office administrator, custodian, speech and language educator, and a contracted occupational therapist.   We are all here to work together to assist our students in achieving their very best and to provide whatever supports our students need.

Our Breakfast Club provides an energetic soft start to the morning for many students, allowing them to start their day with a healthy meal and in camaraderie with friends - ensuring students are ready to focus their minds and start their day of academics.  You will often find our staff sitting down with students and talking about their evenings and weekends.  At Holy Rosary, we are truly a family.

The ALCDSB is dedicated to creating and promoting positive school climate and well-being in all of our schools. Respecting the dignity of all persons by fostering trusting relationships through policies and practices that promote equity, inclusion and diversity are at the core of our Catholic values, the Board's spiritual theme of Faith in Action and our provincial Catholic Graduate Expectations.

A positive school climate is directly linked to student success and well-being, ensuring students are motivated to do well and will realize their full potential. We are committed to sustaining healthy and nurturing communities of belonging that are safe, caring and respectful and built on the principles of restorative practice and progressive discipline.

The ALCDSB and its school communities engage in a whole school approach in putting prevention and intervention strategies in place to facilitate a positive relationship between students, staff, parents and community partners.
